Our farm currently has Dairy Comp., Cow Manager (Rumination and Activity), TMR Tracker (Feeds), and we are now milking 50 stall Delaval Rotary Parlor 4x.

Our farm has a lot of opportunity to excel and learn. It is a place that you will need to work very hard but can visibly see your accomplishments. We are a small enough farm that you will work with the owners. But a large enough farm to have good employees with responsibilities.

Stauffer Farms LLC is a 1800 cow dairy in northern St. Lawrence county NY. We raise all replacements and crop 3500 acres of corn silage and haylage. The dairy facilities are modern, constructed over the span of 2009-2014. Replacements are raised in retrofitted older dairy facilities with wet calves in a new barn built in 2013. In 2017 we will be doing a major expansion, adding 1200 cows and a second parlor.
Stauffer Farms consists of three families. The senior generation and founders are Sanford and Ruth. The animal side of the operation is managed by Aaron, while the crop and equipment side is managed by Ben. Ben's wife Karen does the bookkeeping and payroll. Aaron's wife Renee manages the families' charitable foundation and does some design and organization of irregular events and functions.
The business approach of Stauffer Farms LLC is to promote efficiency in every way possible. We have aggressively invested capital to achieve this, and are currently shipping over 1,600,000 lbs of milk per worker.
