January 30, 2020Feed is one biggest costs in raising livestock. Cornell Cooperative Extension NWNY Dairy, Livestock & Field Crops Team is holding a workshop for livestock farmers to help address the basics of making hay Saturday, February 29 from 9:30 am - 12 pm.
The workshop will be at the CCE Training Center, 4487 Lake Avenue, Lockport. Leading the discussion will be Jodi Putman, Field Crops Specialist and Nancy Glazier, Small Farms & Livestock Specialist with the NWNY Team. Topics will be soil fertility and testing, seeding, weed management, harvest and storage.
