Hands-on with CCE grazing educator Fay Benson and the National Grazing Lands Coalition Soil Health Trailer. Watch the soil health trailer demonstrate vital physical, chemical & biological components of soil health, and use a penetrometer to measure compaction. Learn how livestock concentration, compaction, soil erosion, living plant cover, dead plant residue, forage mass/height, soil organic matter influence grazing land management and productivity.
